Home organizing
Core Organizing Principles:
I use what you have. Anything can be an organizing product - shoe boxes, cookie tins, gift boxes, recycled glass jars. I love to find creative uses for what you have in your home first and will only recommend products if necessary. I do this to help keep costs down for you and our environment.
I create spaces that actively encourage your interests and hobbies. For me, making collage art has become an essential act of self-care. We all have hobbies and interests that ground us and your space should actively encourage them. Whether it’s clearing a corner of your living room for an easel, displaying your sprinkle collection in the kitchen, or setting up a grab-and-go gardening basket by your back door, I’m here to find ways to facilitate and celebrate the activities that bring you joy.
I respect and support your decisions. Organizing can be emotional because we all have attachments to things. I will respect and support the decisions you make about keeping, donating, selling, or disposing of your items. If necessary, we will explore NAPO’s Business Partners for additional services that can appraise, sell, or remove items for you.

If you’re trying to make your current home work better for you, I’m here to help put things in places where you’ll be able to find them later. Together, we’ll find realistic solutions that are just the right fit for your current circumstances and build in adaptability for your home to change with you. I charge $60/hour with a 3-hour minimum.

If you’re moving into a brand new home, I’m here to help take things out of boxes and make decisions about where and how items should be stored and displayed. I charge $60/hour with a 3-hour minimum. If you book more than 3 consecutive 6-hour days, I will apply a 10% discount to labor.
-
If you’re trying to make your home feel more you, I’m here to help design spaces with your current pieces or source additional furniture, decor, or art. While I have a strong preference (and quite a knack) for sourcing secondhand items, we will discuss your vision for the space and source items from retailers that align with your aesthetic and budget. I charge $60/hour for product research, shopping, and installing.
-
This is an add-on service that must be combined with organizing, unpacking, or designing. If you’d prefer not to trek to the store, I can purchase organizing products or source furniture/decor at my hourly rate of $60 + the cost of materials. This cost will be added to the balance due upon completion of the project.
I also organize a monthly event called Secondhand Saturday, where we explore the very best thrift stores in the Chicago suburbs. All are welcome to attend!
